The Alpha 102mm Titanium Exhaust is one of the largest and most efficient exhaust systems available for the Nissan R35 GT-R. Designed to reduce exhaust back pressure and improve turbocharger efficiency, this system helps maximize power output while delivering an aggressive and exotic exhaust tone.

On turbocharged vehicles, removing exhaust back pressure is crucial for improving turbo response and airflow. The Alpha 102mm Titanium Exhaust achieves this by combining the mid-pipe (Y-pipe) with the rear exhaust section to create a significantly larger system than traditional designs. While most aftermarket exhaust systems use 90mm piping, this system utilizes a much larger 102mm primary pipe, drastically improving exhaust gas flow and reducing turbulence.

This increase in flow efficiency allows the engine to breathe more freely, improving turbo spool and supporting higher horsepower levels. Whether used for drag racing, roll racing, circuit driving, or street applications, the Alpha 102mm Titanium Exhaust helps unlock additional performance from the VR38 engine.

Lightweight Motorsport Titanium Construction

The factory GT-R exhaust weighs over 63 lbs, making it both heavy and restrictive. The Alpha 102mm Titanium Exhaust weighs approximately 30 lbs assembled, providing a massive weight reduction while maintaining strength and durability.

Unlike many exhaust systems that use partial titanium construction, the Alpha system is fully titanium, including the piping, mufflers, flanges, and exhaust tips. This ensures maximum weight savings while maintaining high strength and corrosion resistance in high-temperature environments.

The system also retains all five factory mounting points, unlike some aftermarket systems that only use three. This distributes stress more evenly across the exhaust system, improving durability and reducing the chance of hanger or weld failures.

To further improve reliability, the mid-pipe features hybrid titanium and stainless steel flex sections. These flex joints allow the exhaust to move with the engine during normal operation while minimizing stress on the piping and welds.

Maximum Flow for Maximum Power

By increasing the pipe diameter to 102mm, this system improves exhaust gas flow efficiency dramatically compared to smaller systems. In high horsepower applications, switching from restrictive 90mm exhaust systems to a 102mm system has shown gains of up to 100 horsepower in some GT-R builds.

The system was engineered with minimal bends to reduce turbulence and maintain smooth exhaust flow. Twin 11.75-inch mufflers are included to refine the exhaust tone while maintaining high flow capability. These mufflers were specifically selected after extensive testing to deliver the best combination of sound quality and performance.
